I only booked YOTEL Deansgate because I stayed at the London location (just off Tottenham Court Road) over a decade ago and it was amazing. Unfortunately, this experience couldn’t have been more different. The location is the only real positive – it’s excellent, right in the heart of Manchester. The staff, however, were inconsistent. Some were professional, but others were sitting in reception loudly talking about their night out and swearing, which really brought down the atmosphere. The room itself was very basic and not properly cleaned – I even found women’s hair on my bed. On top of that, the constant sound of water pipes running through the night made it difficult to sleep. To add insult to injury, when I asked to extend my checkout by just 15 minutes, I was told it would cost £13. Given the poor standard of the stay, this felt unreasonable. Overall, I left feeling really disappointed. YOTEL Deansgate fell far short of the quality and service I once associated with the brand.

While the location of the property is prime, the amenities, cleanliness and other facilities are substandard. Walls, ceiling and corners of the rooms are full of pipes, which feels like living in a parking lot. The floors and corners were so dusty that it looked like it was uncleaned for a week. There were small left out cardboard papers under the bed. More of that the room doesn't have a water kettle and tea station in the room and you have to travel long down the passage to a common station, waiting for your turn. The station has very limited options of tea and coffee and the machine is very slow. The cups are dirty, no paper cups. Asked about breakfast the night before and they said 12£, but had to pay 16£ in the morning. Said, it would be 12£ if I would have paid yesterday evening. No cereal in the breakfast. Not a 16£ worth. No takeaway paper cups available. I won't stay here next time and will ask others the same.

酒店很好很有格調，就是第二晚不知道為何有滴水聲音，我們都沒睡好。位置非常好，最具性價比的酒店。而第二喜歡，樓層有茶水台，非常方便，有牛奶，冷熱水，茶和咖啡～非常好，酒店服務也很好👍

Stayed here with my daughter for the Olivia Rodrigo concert. Usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was so much better. Only downside was a squeaky sliding door on the bathroom and someone running in the corridor at 2am. Overall, a lovely quirky hotel and would stay again 😀

An excellent hotel that I’m sure to return to. Check in was a doddle and the reception area and bar looked so welcoming with really vibrant and funky decor. The room itself was well laid out with the bathroom being a wet room. The bed was comfortable too. We were on the 6th floor and there was no noise to be heard from outside. Great stay!

避雷！非常差的酒店。我們預訂的時候接近九百人民幣一晚的價格但居住體驗非常不符合這個價位。首先，這個酒店的被子枕頭都有一股像是放在櫃子裡很久沒拿出來也沒陰乾的酸味，由此可見床品衞生堪憂。其次，這個酒店不提供拖鞋、牙膏、水等物品。雖然英國的其他酒店也是需要詢問工作人員才給，但當我們在WhatsApp上詢問服務人員他們竟直接説不提供拖鞋，這還是我第一次碰到這樣糟糕的情況。再者，淋浴間是半開扇的設計沒有門，洗澡很容易洗的到處都是水，再加上他們臥室的天花板竟然是沒有刷牆的直接是光禿禿的水泥牆。雖然是大床房但是房間面積非常狹小椅子也衹有一把，兩個人完全施展不開身軀。最嚴重的是隔音問題和安全問題。隔音非常糟糕，隔壁洗手説話的聲音全都能聽到。並且，我們居住的房間在凌晨十二點的時候有人在反覆敲我們房間的門，這讓人非常不安。同價位的英國其他酒店我們也住過沒有遇到過這麼差的。我不推薦任何人住這家酒店，它給了我最差的居住體驗。

Convenient location in a funky hotel. Bit unusual to sleep in a room without windows as we didn’t know what the weather was doing (although we could guess! Storm Amy was passing). Positives of having no windows was that it was dark (so no idea what time it was and woke up when our bodies decided was the right time) and no noise from outside. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. Complimentary tea and coffee and ironing board etc by the lifts for everyone was unusual but we did use it and it worked fine.
